MS is the most common neurological disease in young adults, affecting around 13,500 people across Austria. Dr. Christoph Guger is researching a therapy to reduce a typical symptom of MS, spasticity. To do this, he uses an interface between the brain and the computer, a so-called brain-computer interface called RecoveriX. The aim of the therapy is to preserve the patients’ motor skills.
