About recoveriX

recoveriX, created by g.tec medical engineering GmbH, is at the forefront of neurorehabilitation, offering cutting-edge brain-computer interface (BCI) technology that empowers recovery for individuals with stroke and multiple sclerosis. As a leader in brain-computer interfaces and neurotechnology, g.tec develops pioneering hardware and software used globally in areas ranging from motor rehabilitation to brain tumor and epilepsy surgery planning, communication with individuals in altered states of consciousness (coma, locked-in syndrome), and brain research.

Launched in 2016 in Schiedlberg, Austria, recoveriX was initially developed to assist stroke survivors in regaining upper and lower limb mobility. In 2023, we expanded our mission to support those living with multiple sclerosis, making recoveriX the world’s first BCI rehabilitation system that links mental activities—especially movement visualization—with real-time visual and tactile feedback.
